‘At The Movies’ is Now Playing on BCTV

“It’s been quite some time since I last posted, but here’s some news!”

The past almost year exactly has been an extremely fun, albeit strenuous one. A lot of what I’ve been up to for the past 12 months has finally culminated in a new ongoing video project, a television program called ‘At The Movies’.

‘At The Movies’ is a monthly program produced, hosted, and edited by myself for publication on my own YouTube channel as well as on Berks Community Television (BCTV) – the local community media platform in the Greater Reading area where I spend much of my time acting as a studio technician.

The program aims to highlight local independent movie theaters, including The Boscov Theater at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts in Reading, PA – where I spend another large portion of my time acting as Theater Manager. ‘At The Movies’ aims to celebrate the moviegoing experience while also helping to promote local theaters, film festivals, and more.

The pilot episode posted to YouTube on Friday, September 6, 2024. It premiered on BCTV’s local cable (and online) broadcast on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at 8:30pm. It’s looking like Sundays at 8:30pm will be the official, consistent time slot for the show to play out on the broadcast.
