Gone Postal Records Springs Forward in 2019

Gone Postal Records, the flagship Faot Media Group, launched many new projects throughout 2018 and the trend is projected to continue this year. Popular elements of the electronic music label will be carrying over into 2019 including new episodes of the Pretty Gritty Podcast releasing every Thursday and two new music releases, one pretty and one gritty, dropping every Friday. However, in the new year, GPR aims to expand upon these fan favorites as well as implement a handful of new projects.

PRETTY GRITTY PODCAST RESTRUCTURE
With the start of the new year, the Pretty Gritty Podcast has entered its second year and its fifth season. The podcast, aiming to showcase as much underground electronic music as possible, now features between five and six new community submissions each week. Of course, the show still kicks off each week with new releases coming soon on GPR, but the number of featured GPR releases has been trimmed down to just two. This ensures that the same songs are never repeated in consecutive episodes and affords more time for new music. This podcast restructure has already launched, so tune in to the Pretty Gritty Podcast every Thursday by clicking here to hear for yourself what all the buzz is about!

GPR MONTHLY
In the past, Gone Postal Records has sent out weekly email blasts to members of our mailing list showcasing the new releases of the respective week. My goal with GPR has never been to clog fans’ inboxes, but rather to keep fans involved, excited, and informed. Enter GPR Monthly. Launching in early 2019, GPR Monthly is a connected show and newsletter that will be premiered on Facebook Video and YouTube, and delivered to the inbox of all Pretty Gritty Family members, on the first of each month. The show and newsletter will be an all-inclusive showcase of new releases dropping in the coming month on GPR. With the delivery of new editions of GPR Monthly, fans will be able to pre-order any and all of the featured releases. GPR Monthly is set to drop its first edition on February 1st, 2019. Make sure to keep an eye out for it on social media by clicking here or by joining the Pretty Gritty Family by clicking here.

PRETTY GRITTY SHOWDOWN
Beginning in early 2019, Gone Postal Records will be launching a monthly episodic show on Facebook Video and YouTube called the Pretty Gritty Showdown. The show will pit all of the respective month’s pretty releases against each other and all of the month’s gritty releases against each other. Members of the Pretty Gritty Family will be able to log in to the new PGF dashboard and vote on their favorite releases of the month. When the monthly voting has concluded, one pretty release and one gritty release will stand tall as finalists. At the end of each quarter, these monthly finalists will be pitted against each other and two quarterly champions – one pretty and one gritty – will be selected by PGF members voting. Champions of the Pretty Gritty Showdown will be guaranteed a spot on the year-end’s Pretty Gritty Essentials album and will receive a special GPR merch pack. New episodes will drop at the end of each month, with the first episode set to drop in January 2019. Be sure to follow GPR on social media for new episodes by clicking here and join the Pretty Gritty Family by clicking here to ensure you’re registered to vote when the show launches.

MERCH COLLECTIONS
Visit the GPR Store by clicking here. Beginning in 2019, new merch collections will drop bi-monthly. The first Monday of every other month will bring a new, electronic music and rave inspired collection of merch for fans to get their hands on. Members of the Pretty Gritty Family get 10% off all purchases from the GPR Store, so be sure to become a member right now by clicking here.
