Big New Year Update (2026)
It’s been a little under 2 months since I last posted here to my blog, but that’s not to say I haven’t been very busy! In fact, quite the opposite.
At The Movies
Since the last time I posted, I’ve premiered 2 new episodes of my show At The Movies on BCTV. The December 2025 episode featured a behind the scenes look at Shankweiler’s Drive-In in Orefield, PA and the January 2026 episode featured a behind the scenes look at The Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville, PA.
The February 2026 episode will be a return to my own theater, The Boscov Theater at GoggleWorks in Reading, PA – so stay tuned for a post about that when it goes live!
Skeleton Keyframe
I will almost certainly be making an additional, dedicated post about this – but my animation-centric film festival Skeleton Keyframe opened for submissions on January 1, 2026. Since then, we’ve had a huge response on FilmFreeway and I couldn’t be more excited! More on that soon, but this year’s festival (the first time it’s happening in-person) is going to be the biggest and best yet!
The Nintendo Beast
This will also be a post on its own, but in late December (Christmas Day actually) I officially passed the 5k subscriber threshold on my The Nintendo Beast YouTube channel. This is obviously very exciting, since this channel is my frontrunner. Of all my channels, The Nintendo Beast is my highest engagement and subscribed to channel thus far – so every milestone is truly a milestone for both the channel and for myself as a lifelong YouTuber. More on this soon as well!
Pozz Games
I’m really going steady with this channel and the subscriber count is growing to match. It’s very exciting to see more and more engagement here as I play all kinds of games on the channel. I also relaunched a more sustainable version of my popular show “This Month in Games” on the channel back in January with the second installment hitting YouTube this Friday. The Pozz Games email newsletter is also doing really well, as it now aligns with This Month in Games to add more information value to subscribers.
I think that’s it for now! It’s been a whirlwind of a start to 2026 but there are so many big things happening already and I’m so excited to keep on keeping on! Stay tuned here on the blog for more updates over the next few days regarding some of the bigger aforementioned updates.
