Summer 2026 Catch-All Catch-Up
Time has slipped away from me once again and it has been since March of this year that I posted here on my blog. Where to even begin.
First of all, check out my brand new ‘About‘ page! I typically free-hand these blog posts because they’re intended to be conversational and wholly my voice. Admittedly, I did use my good friend Gemini to polish up my ‘About’ page bio. I want it to be a bit more professional than a standard blog post, so I figured having AI improve its readability and grammar made sense.
HOWEVER, for reference, the use of em dashes which is often referenced as an “AI tell” is not a tell in this case. I actually use em dashes constantly in my writing (at least when I have a full keyboard to type its Alt+0151 shortcut, which at this moment I do not so I use hyphens instead – to lazily serve the em dash’s purpose).
Frankly, I also acknowledge my stream-of-consciousness writing style I employ here can be tedious to read. So if you’re someone who actually reads these posts, enjoy the brain dump!
‘At The Movies’ on BCTV
My community media TV program ‘At The Movies‘ has been on a bit of a hiatus. Frankly, the format was getting a bit stale and I wanted to start making more unique episodes. I’m putting together a really unique new episode that I hope to get airing on BCTV by early August featuring a number of film-centric events I attended in the area over the past few months (the last episode published was April 2026).
Skeleton Keyframe
Holy crap – this one is huge. As of writing this, Skeleton Keyframe has received over 180 qualifying film submissions. For reference, last season we had 20 – so this is an absolutely massive uptick. The first-ever in-person Skeleton Keyframe Animation Festival is also officially scheduled for Sunday, February 28, 2027 at The Boscov Theater at GoggleWorks in Reading, PA. I’m working on an official press release, a promotional video series to sort of illustrate how far the project has come since its launch back in 2021, and of course – getting full day passes on sale soon! My aim is to hit an early August rollout for all of this as well.
Pozz Games & The Nintendo Beast
Keepin’ on keepin’ on! Since my last post, between the two channels, I’ve conquered five full video game campaigns (with another two wrapping by the end of this month). I’m working on reemphasizing fundraising for cystic fibrosis research on the Pozz Games channel, and I’m thinking part of that should include expanding the mission to encompass The Nintendo Beast channel too (as well as sales from The Gamer Beasts merch store which is already established). More on that in future updates!
