Trying Something New at Skeleton Keyframe for Thanksgiving

It’s long been a point of discussion for me that Thanksgiving is sort of a transitional holiday. It serves as a reminder of the, in my humble opinion, better holiday that passed a month prior – Halloween. With its leftover pumpkins, fall aesthetic, etc…

When it comes to seasonal pop culture, Thanksgiving is essentially just a pre-Christmas gathering. Most people listen to Christmas music on Thanksgiving, watch Christmas movies, and treat it overall as the kickoff to the winter holiday season.

Not a lot of “Thanksgiving” media exists. I’m sure there’s Thanksgiving music, but frankly, I can’t think of a single song. I also had this same thought while pondering Thanksgiving movies. I could populate a more meaningful list in my head of Thanksgiving themed films, but the list still paled in comparison to Christmas flicks – both in quantity and quality.

And so – I got to thinking, maybe other people have this same question! What movies exist for Thanksgiving, and in the theme of Skeleton Keyframe, what animated movies exist specifically for Thanksgiving?
