Skeleton Keyframe is Back with the First New Episode of ‘Animation Radar’ since 2023

It’s been a long time coming! 2025 is shaping up to be the year I figure my schedule out and force myself to make time for everything I’m passionate about in life.

In 2021, I launched Skeleton Keyframe – a virtual animation festival aimed at highlighting animation in its many forms as an artistic medium. The first Skeleton Keyframe Animation Awards then took place in 2022. The next season took place in 2023 with the 2nd awards given out in 2024.

But since then – the virtual animation festival has been silent as I tackled other major undertakings in my life. Animation Radar was a monthly spotlight show I produced on and off throughout 2022/23 as a way to keep the YouTube channel active, but I never really kept up with it in a meaningful way – despite individual episodes being some of the most popular videos on the channel.

Well – here we are in November 2025 and Animation Radar is back and better than ever! I look forward to posting new episodes on the first of every month to make it easy for subscribers to keep up with all the latest animated films releasing in theaters and on streaming services!
